with the design professionals from the beginning, as a team, providing unified project recommendations to fit the Owner’s schedule and budget. Any changes are addressed by the entire team, leading to collaborative problem-solving and innovation, not excuses or blame- shifting. While single-source contracting is the fundamental difference between design-build and the old ways, equally important is the culture of collaboration inherent in design-build.Read
Our estimating team, a project manager, a superintendent, and executive begin
working on the project during the Pre-Construction phase. Upon approval and contracting of the final pricing, this same team begins the construction process. This consistency and familiarity of the project from the beginning makes for a smooth construction project. We utilize a nationally renowned Project Management software for ease of communication, scheduling, and file organization and maintenance to better serve our clients.Read
When construction drawings are complete and sent to the city for permitting, we begin the process
of final pricing the project. Invitations to bid are sent out to subcontractors that we know can handle the intricacies and complexities of your specific project. We strive to get a minimum of three competitive bids per scope of work. After vetting each bid for scope, quality, and price, we put together the final bid. Our process is open book, and we encourage owners to be as involved in the bidding process as they would like to be.Read
